Of all vocations, pastoral ministry is one that is most radically formed by godly mentorship. We see how the ministry of Jesus was focused on discipleship and intimate teaching in raising his disciples. We also see how Apostle Paul’s ministry was focused on strengthening the church by strengthening the leaders of the church. They were committed to raising up gospel ministers. We see the same need to intentionally disciple, mentor, and raise up gospel ministers that will strengthen the church and expand the Kingdom of God.

With that heart, GCC offers an internship program for those called into ministry. GCC’s pastoral internship program seeks to develop and invest in potential ministry leaders who display godly character, giftedness, and interest in local church leadership. This is done by providing structured ministry opportunities and intentional mentoring.

The internship program is a 2-year commitment where each intern will be assigned to one of the pastors at GCC for direct mentoring. The program will focus on establishing a spiritual foundation and theological foundation, and providing experiential ministry opportunities for the interns. The internship is most ideal for seminarians that are in their last two years of schooling, but it is also open to recent seminary graduates.

If you are interested, we would love for you to apply.
