Our Leadership

Rev. Jae Park is the founder and Lead Pastor of Grace Community Chapel. Rev. Park is a graduate of University of Valley Forge, received his M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary, and has been serving in the Northeast region of the U.S. since 1991.

Rev. Park planted Grace Community Chapel in 2005 and the church has since grown to maintain 2 sites (EM & KM) and has sent out 3 church plants (Cornerstone Church of New York, King’s Covenant Church of Bridgewater, NJ, and GCC Sydney in Australia). Rev. Park also served as the Director of the Student Ministry Program for JAMA and as a plenary speaker for JAMA, GLDI, KOSTA and Youth Specialities Korea. His greatest passions are discipleship, church-planting, the Yankees, and brewing coffee.

Rev. Samuel Lim serves as the Executive Pastor at GCC. He oversees the operations and logistics of the church. He is a graduate of Central Bible College and received his M.Div from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.

He loves to joke around, watch movies, play sports, watch Yankees games, and spend time with his family. He is happily married to his wife, Ashley, and they have 2 sons: Aiden and Alex!

Rev. Jinsung Lee leads our Korean Ministry at Grace Community Chapel. He graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (GCTS) with a Master of Divinity and Biblical Theology.  He was born into a pastoral family and is a 4th generation Christian. He desires to be a faithful servant of Christ and His Church and has a passion for discipleship.

Rev. Soo Kim serves as an EM Shepherding Pastor at GCC. He is a graduate of Western Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and Kairos University (Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy). He and his wife Lydia have two wonderful children: Abigail and Abraham.

Rev. Kevin Lee is a Korean Ministry Pastor at GCC.

Rev. Mike Mun leads the Newcomers Ministry called “Crossroads” at GCC. He graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (GCTS) with a degree in Intercultural Studies and is currently finishing his Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He and his wife Diana are passionate about missions and they have 2 beautiful children: Micah & Emma.

Rev. John Shim serves as a Korean Ministry Pastor at GCC and oversees a number of committees. He received his M.Div from American Theological Seminary. Rev. Shim loves spending time with and leading family worship with his wife Chloe, daughters Claire and Izzie, and son Bradley.

Pastor Jeff is an EM Shepherding Pastor at GCC.

Pastor Thomas serves as a Young Adult Shepherding Pastor in GCC’s Korean Ministry. He is a graduate of City College of New York and Brooklyn Law School, and is is currently pursuing an M.Div at Westminster Theological Seminary.

Pastor Thomas loves playing board games and sports! He is happily married to his wife Sua and they have two wonderful girls: Lizzy and Abby.

Pastor Hyo oversees our Next Generation ministry (Toddler-Youth) and leads our Toddler Ministry at GCC. She graduated from Alliance Theological Seminary’s Master of Professional Studies program and has been serving in children’s ministry for over 18 years. Pastor Hyo and her husband Pastor Louis love playing games with their 3 awesome sons: Jonathan, Nathan, and Rey.

Pastor Diane leads our Missions Ministry at GCC.

Director Sonia leads GCC’s Preschool Ministry. She is a graduate of Seoul National University (B.B.A., M.S.) and Columbia University (Ph.D.). Her husband Arthur is famous for his steak grilling skills and they have a lovely son named Lucas.

Pastor Louis serves as the Elementary Pastor at GCC. He is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. Pastor Louis always knows how to have a fun time with the Elementary teachers and kids and with his family: his wife, Pastor Hyo, and their sons: Jonathan, Nathan, and Rey.

Pastor Rachel leads our Youth Ministry (Grades 6-12) at GCC, teaching teens how to love the Lord deeply and prioritize their faith without compromise. She is currently pursuing a Master’s at Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS), and has been a dedicated servant leader at GCC alongside her husband, Michael Jung.

Pastor Josh is the College Pastor at GCC.

Pastor Danny serves as the Education Pastor at Grace Community Chapel. A graduate of Westminster Theological Seminary, he is passionate about discipling believers and equipping them to live out their faith. When he’s not in ministry, Pastor Danny enjoys cheering for the New York Knicks!

He and his wife Carol have 3 wonderful children: Shiloh, Seth, and Leila.

Eddie Kang serves as the Praise Director at GCC. Eddie received training from the Boston Conservatory. Eddie enjoys sports and spending time with his beloved wife, Priscilla.

Matthew Oh runs the Operations at GCC ranging from church wide events to communications and Church Center. He graduated from Cornell University as a Chemical Engineer and is the Founder and CEO of the non-profit, Forefront.

Sylvia Ahn serves as the Administrator at GCC. She oversees all logistics, building management, and pastoral care. Sylvia is a graduate of Westchester University and Rider University with a background in education.

Sylvia enjoys eating, cooking, and organizing. She is married to Ji and they have 2 wonderful boys: Nathan and Timothy.

Yedam Lee is a Pastoral Intern at GCC.
