Our team

Rev. Jae Park is the founder and Lead Pastor of Grace Community Chapel. Rev. Park is a graduate of University of Valley Forge and also received his M.Div. at Westminster Theological Seminary and has been serving in the Northeast region of the U.S. since 1991.

Rev. Park planted Grace Community Chapel in 2005 and the church has since grown into three church sites in Bergen, KM, and New Brunswick. Rev. Park also served as Director of the Student Ministry Program for JAMA, and as a plenary speaker for JAMA, GLDI, KOSTA and Youth Specialities Korea. His greatest passions are discipleship, church-planting, the Yankees, and brewing coffee.

Rev. Samuel Lim serves as the Executive Pastor at GCC. He oversees the operations and logistics of the church. He is a graduate of Central Bible College and Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (M.Div.).

He loves to joke around, watch movies, play sports, watch Yankees games, and spend time with his family. He is happily married to his wife, Ashley, and they have 2 sons: Aiden and Alex!

Rev. Soo Kim serves as one of the Married Ministry Pastor at GCC Bergen. He is a graduate of SUNY Binghamton and Western Theological Seminary (M.Div.). He is also currently pursuing a Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy at Alliance Graduate School of Counseling.

He enjoys visiting small towns and seeing the character in each one. He also loves playing any kind of sports, even ones he is not good at, like golf and soccer. Soo is married to his wife, Lydia, who introduced him to GCC and they have 1 beautiful daughter: Abigail.

Director Diana Yu oversees GCC Missions and Crossroads (non-member) SG, and is also the Administrator for GCC Bergen. She is a graduate of Boston University and City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law (J.D.). She is currently pursuing an M.A. in Biblical Studies at Reformed Theological Seminary NYC.

She and her husband, Pastor Mike, enjoy hosting friends at their home with good coffee, good food, and great fellowship.

Director Sora Suh leads our Adult Education team. She oversees church Bible studies, Seekers, Membership, GracePress, and assists with all education-related ministries. She is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div.), UPenn (M.S.Ed.), and Rutgers University (B.A., Ph.D.).

She loves being outdoors, exploring new places, eating and making good food, and spending time with her husband, Elder Sean and their three boys, Leo, Jordan, and David.

Director Jee Park leads the Next Generation Ministry. She oversees all GCC Children’s and Youth Ministries. She is a graduate of the University of Valley Forge and Missio Seminary (M.A. Biblical Counseling). She has over twenty years of experience working with children and youth.

She enjoys reading books, listening to music, and relaxing with her family and friends. She is happily married to Rev. Jae Park, and they have 4 awesome children, Daniel, Isaiah, Joy, and Shion.

Pastor Masao Fujishima serves as the Bergen Singles and Media Ministry. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and Westminster Theological Seminary (M.Div).

He loves all things superheroes, sports, games, and loves talking to people about life and faith. He is happily married to his wife, Angie, and they have three children: Nathan, Lily, and Daniel.

Pastor Danny Park serves as the College Pastor. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and Westminster Theological Seminary (M.Div.).

He enjoys hanging out, eating good food, watching Marvel movies, and playing basketball. Danny is married to his beautiful wife Carol and they have 1 son: Shiloh.

Rev. Peter Lee is one of the Associate Pastors for the Korean Ministry. He is a graduate of Penn State University and Westminster Theological Seminary (M.Div.).

He loves to eat, drink coffee, watch Netflix, and geek out on all things related to tech and cars. He is happily married to his wife Lynda, and they have 4 children: Amos, Asher, Arwyn, and Abraham!

Pastor Mike Mun serves as the Elementary Pastor. He also works as a Campus Minister with InterVarsity at Drew University and Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ. He is a graduate of Bucknell University and is currently transitioning his MA in Intercultural Studies to complete an M.Div at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

His hobbies are rock-climbing and any sport activities except basketball. He enjoys hosting people and also reading and studying the Bible. He is married to Pastor Diana and they have 1 lovely son: Micah.

Director Ann Suh oversees GCC Next Generation Preschool Ministry. She graduated from Queens College with a BA in Linguistics and completed Childhood Development Study as a teacher and director from International Christian Education College.

Ann is happily married to Elder Jay for over 20 years and has 3 children: Christian, Samuel and Sarah.

Pastor Melissa Gaitan serves as the Youth Pastor. She is a graduate of University of Rochester and Relay Graduate School of Education (M.A.). She currently attends Reformed Theological Seminary (MABS) in NYC. She is also a middle school (6-8th) teacher in the Bronx.

Pastor Melissa enjoys board games, sports, reading, and learning new things.

Sylvia Ahn serves as the Administrator. She oversees all logistics, building management, and pastoral care. Sylvia is a graduate of Westchester University and Rider University with a background in education.

Sylvia enjoys eating, cooking, and organizing. She is married to Ji and they have 2 wonderful boys: Nathan and Timothy.

Jong Ho Park serves as the Media Director. Jong Ho is a graduate of Penn State University. He is the founder of HagiEn Company and has extensive experience in media and concert production.

Eddie Kang serves as the Praise Director. Eddie received training from the Boston Conservatory. Eddie enjoys sports and spending time with his beloved wife, Priscilla.
